Food/hunting
Many of the men would go hunting for animals for food and bring them home for their wives to cook for their meal. Pequot Indians also speared whales. They caught turtles, fish and lobster. Also, everyone from little to old dug up scallops, oysters, sea nails, mussels, clams, and quahog. Women would stay home and cook mostly; or they would clean and watch the kids while the men are out hunting.
